Disturbance Mine Roller
The Firth anti disturbance mine roller is a full width mine roller system designed to detonate mines and munitions that are triggered by anti-disturbance fuses. The roller shares many of the structural components used in the lightweight mine plow however greater effective weight is made possible by ballasting the structure with suitable granular material such as sand. This has the additional benefit that the sand provides highly effective protection to the vehicle from mine blast.
Components that are damaged by mine blast can be readily replaceable in the field.
